Josh began in hospitality in high school as a night auditor and continued through college. He went on to a career in tech, media & data intelligence before coming back home to hospitality. At Ampex/Quantegy, he led product development for the digital storage division, working with recording & motion picture industry clients like Industrial Light & Magic, Skywalker Sound, and Capital Records. In addition, he worked in multiple capacities with US CI, DOD / ODNI, US Dept of State, and other clients to manage strategic data assets & intelligence. After Ampex/Quantegy was sold, he joined Stratford (Ontario, CAN) as a Supply Chain Director across the opening of multiple plants across the southeast US. In late 2009, he made the decision to move to coastal Alabama to spend more time with family, and found a new home with Innisfree.

Joining Innisfree in 2010, he served in senior management roles (including DOS & General Manager) at multiple properties until moving to corporate in 2019. In his current role as Director of Platform Technology & Business Intelligence, he directs and manages platforms, implementations & initiatives across the enterprise. In concert, Josh also directs efforts to provide tools & solutions for planning & analysis. In this role, he led a project to innovate daily ERP data processes and in 2023 & 2024, Innisfree was highlighted by Workday as an Innovation Gamechanger and won Workday’s 2023 Innovation Award for Digital Transformation.

Josh serves on Workday Advisory Board for Retail & Hospitality, on the OneSource Virtual CA Board, and on the Advisory Board at Unifocus. He also serves on the HTNG PMS Integration Standards Committee, the AHLA Consumer Innovation Forum Committee, and is an active member of HFTP.

Josh graduated from Auburn University (War Eagle!) and the Alabama School of Mathematics and Science, and is an active alumni supporter of both. When not working, he enjoys traveling with his partner of 18 years, spending time with their 3 dogs and volunteering with YMCA & HRC.
