The Pensacola community is so proud and happy to be the first outreach location of Parent University as of October 30, 2020. Local city and county government officials, community leaders, agencies and individuals have all met the idea of Parent University with excitement and support. Parents here have shown such enthusiasm that we cannot wait to continue and build — on the beginning of Parent University Pensacola.

Parent University has served as an agent of change in the city of Savannah. Change has come not only to parents’ access to education and empowerment, but also to the lives of their children, their family, and their friends. This simple but revolutionary model reminds us that parents are the first teachers of their children, and trust that parents know what they need to know and what they want to learn. Parent University is a whole family model. Mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and children all come to celebrate learning and community. It is powerful and fun!
